Apply for clinical attachments earlier

Plan to do a clinical attachment in an NHS trust when you come to the UK for your PLAB2 exam. Apply 4-5 months in advance to gain first-hand experience of the NHS.

Utilise Time Between PLAB Exams

Use the time between PLAB1 and PLAB2 to start your EPIC verification, enhance your CV, and participate in clinical audits.

Don't underestimate audits

Engage in quality improvement or audit projects, even informally. Speak with seniors and colleagues to find opportunities in your setting.

Networking is the key

Connect with NHS professionals, such as college seniors or compatriots, for guidance. They can assist with finding clinical attachments or your first NHS job.
